What is a better way to hold gold..Australia Perth Mint Certificate or goldmoney.com?

I would like to know the best way to own gold. I don't want to hold the actual metal myself so I am thinking about the Australia's Perth Mint Certificate or goldmoney.com. Both hold it for me and it is held out of the US. You don't have to worry about storing all of it yourself.

However, I would like to know which one is the safer and more reliable way to hold gold?

May I make a suggestion?

I hold both gold and silver in what's known as 'Pool Accounts' at Kitco.com. It's backed by the actual metal (they won't sell more pool accounts than they have gold available) and it's based in Canada. You can take delivery of the metals at your discretion.
